Navigation Through Poetic Practice
Join award winning author Elayna Mae Darcy for a three session generative poetry workshop, Mythos in Motion: Navigation Through Poetic Practice, where participants will engage in a series of readings, lessons and creative writing exercises. Each week features prompts inspired by poems from Darcy's latest collection, CONNECTING ROUTES.
Each week is based on one of the book's themes (Departures, Routes, and Destinations) and has been designed to allow each writer to learn new ways to translate their own personal life journeys into poetry. There are packets with recommended readings and prompts to try at home between sessions, and writers also have the opportunity to join the Writer's Haven, a discord server for past participants of the workshop to keep in touch and remain motivated in their poetic practice.
